EDG seeks a Survey Technician to work in the field as part of the surveying team, providing support to the crew chief and assisting in the completion of the teams daily tasks.  Technician operates surveying instrumentation and data collection equipment (GPS, total stations, level or other depending on assignment) and assists with accurate field measurements and staking activities.  Reads engineering, topographic, boundary plats and other plans related to the site and takes detailed notes on site. Occasionally prepares detailed drawings and maps using CAD software.  High school diploma is required.  3+ years in surveying experience and proficiency in survey technology and equipment is required.
