Position Title: Trails and Multi-Modal Project Manager
Position Location: Akron/Cleveland/Columbus, Ohio
Salary Range: $100,000+ (dependent on qualifications)
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science from accredited university
- Certifications: P.E. required
- Experience: 8+ years
- Supervisory Experience: 4+ years
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and computer aided design (CAD) and other industry-based software is required.
- Federally Funded LPA experience required. ODOT-let experience a plus.
- Familiarity with environmental permitting processes and agency coordination for linear transportation projects.
- Experience with linear transportation project cost estimating (including federally funded projects), plan production, and QA/QC.
- Passion for trails, streetscapes, and multi-modal projects.
Skills
Ability to understand grading, drainage and utility coordination; Ability to produce a set of construction documents; strong understanding of and experience with ODOT & LPA processes;
Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects' scope and deliverables; develop project budgeting and staff resource allocation; Supervise associates directly or indirectly, provide ongoing direction specific to project tasks, budgets, schedules and deliverables. Support and implement associate programs that foster a positive work environment and help develop each associate to their fullest potential.
Supervisor Responsibility
This position will review, mentor, develop and manage staff's performance to both project's and company's goals and expectations. Management activities may include participating in interviews and hiring decisions, training new staff, and performance management.
